Our goal at Aotea Studios is to help businesses succeed by providing resources to improve business processes and productivity. Our expertise is in the areas of business analysis and project management.

We believe that most people benefit from visual information as it allows to learn faster, easier and retain more.

We publish free articles and diagrams on business analysis, enterprise architecture and project management related topics on our blog. Our diagrams have been downloaded by thousands of people and are used by various companies around the world.

Our change management diagram is included in the book called Project Management for Healthcare by David Shirley (http://www.amazon.com/Project-Management-Healthcare-ESI-International/dp/143981953X/, p. 110). It’s also included in UK PMO software Particulus and used in Project Agency (UK) training courses.

We are based in Wellington, the windy capital of New Zealand.

Team

Aotea Studios was started by Alex and Sergey Korban.

Alex has over 10 years of experience in software engineering and has worked for a range of companies, from web startups to a US multinational, and on a variety of products including business software, GPS applications and even a flight simulator. He enjoys helping people work more productively.

Sergey has been in the IT industry for over 25 years and has deep expertise in business analysis and extensive experience in project management and software development management. He’s held a variety of roles throughout his career, including a program director and chief sales officer. He enjoys streamlining business operations and processes.
